Love, Compassion,
Kindness
Through acts of service, Toronto Joy brings them alive within ourselves and our communities.
We come together to serve people facing barriers to food and essentials, building along the way a
community rooted in belonging, connection, and purpose.

How it works
Toronto Joy is built around a simple idea. Serving lifts both people involved, not just one.
- Someone requires help. Someone comes to give it. Both show up right away.
- Serving itself transforms the person giving it, growing kindness, joy, and empathy.
- For those who want to go deeper, Journey Home is a weekly online gathering focused on inner work: presence, authenticity, leadership, communication.
- Whether serving in the field or joining the online sessions, there is no name, no title, no judgment. Just people, together, for one goal. To uplift humanity!
We are a community where people can connect and grow together.
Statistics Canada found that more than 1 in 10 Canadians say they often or always feel lonely. This is our quiet answer.
What’s the plan
Phase 1, happening now. Mobilizing volunteers to support organizations already doing this work: Good Shepherd Ministries, Fred Victor, and Garden@Kimbourne.
Phase 2, next. We look forward to hosting our own events and continuing partnerships, inspiring enthusiasm for future community building.
